WHAT'S IN A WALK?

Greetings, Blogging Pals!!

Okay.  So, as I try to catch up with the photos I have been taking, this post will be of things I have seen while walking.  We try to walk every day (weather permitting) in one of the local parks.  Part of our walk includes walking along the edge of Lake Waco where we see all manner of things, especially water birds.  At any rate... this post will just be a bunch of photos with brief explanations.  Hope you can enjoy!

Bunch of little gourds started flowering and growing a while back.  This is the current state.  Not sure how large they will get but will monitor.

Unfortunately, my phone doesn't take long-distance pics well... but this is an Osprey (above & below) that hangs around the lake.  We have seen it dining... likely on a fish it caught.

Some interesting wildflowers that are Fall bloomers as these were taken in September and October.

This scene above was cause for a joke that we needed to "keep moving!"  Didn't want to be mistaken for a meal!!  Found a tree where a lot of them lit a little later in the walk.  Kept moving!!!

Alrighty!!  That's a little bit of a walk in the park and what's in it!  Lots of other things but didn't want to get ridiculous.  Probably more in your future as seasons change.

Until next post...
